But they were all incredibly funny, lovely people. The women all seemed to have crushes on Yamapi (and even their ancestors were thrilled!) The fisherman with the poison tongue was hilarious too.

Highlights: This was one of my favorite parts of the entire show. Yamapi & Tegoshi seemed to be having so much fun in the singalong session! They would be so much fun to go to karaoke with! The song they sang is a great kiddies song that has really uplifting lyrics and their actions to it were so energetic! I thought Pi isn't supposed to like mornings, but he seemed to be on a real high for this clip even though it was barely 6 AM in the morning! Tegoshi is made to do some calligraphy and an expert explains what it tell us about his personality.

Highlights: Yamapi & the other people in the little box at the bottom of the screen are adorable in this clip, especially when you seem them trying to make the shapes of animals with their hands. The way Koyama truly cared for the kids and spent so much time just chatting to them in sign language was beautiful to watch. And the way they all kept looking towards Koyama after the show was over made me realize how much they trust him & how important he had become to them. When Koyama signed the meaning of the song to them as they sat clutching their balloons, my heart just melted. And I'd just like to point out that I know the part about Koyama playing a penguin could be interpreted to mean either he's playing a daddy penguin or a mommy penguin, but for some reason it just didn't feel right to write "daddy." Koya-mama as a mama penguin is just so much more natural!
*I think I may have gender issues when it comes to Koyama! Ha ha* I'm glad the girl from the idol group SPEED who has a deaf son was also able to be there to see the beautiful hand shadow show.

For instance, even the older sister seems to know that Shige's role is to be the one who always gets teased! Heart-warming lesson #3: Yamapi cares about Shige's future. Or maybe his advice to Shige at the end about what he should do in the future is just more Shige teasing!!
