"Ya-Ya-yah!" variety show (16 Jan, 2005) - "Ya-Ya-yah solo concert & Love Quiz"

Summary: This episode shows footage of Ya-Ya-yah's first solo concert in 2005, including a short part of how other Jrs turned up too - KAT-TUN, NEWS, GOLF & MIKE, J.J.Express. Then there is a part in the studio where they answer questions to find out what kind of person they are as a lover! And it includes a funny part where Kusano & Koyama show how they will ask a girl to be their girlfriend. (Koyama's one just makes my heart melt… It's so cute, but also so romantic....!!) And the last part is a short bit showing Koyama (& some other Jrs) at the shrine celebrating turning 20 years old that year.

Highlights: Yax3 are tied together and have to participate in different sports tests. First they have to test how high they can jump, then try to do jump rope, and do a running race (all while still being tied together in a bundle!) Tegoshi tells them they suck so badly when they can't even beat kindy kids or animals, so they have to give the animals a handicap to give Ya-Ya-yah a chance! Whoever comes up with these ideas for shows is my hero! Absolutely hilarious stuff! Oh, there's also a tiny bit at the end that shows clips of Ya-Ya-yah's concert featuring some NEWS members & Kame.

Highlights: Boys in swimsuits!!! (And even dressed in "celebrity style" while being half naked!!) The show is to decide who is the King of Summer. They have to do dolphin jumps, red carpet running and then a race against an Olympic gold medalist swimmer. I love seeing Shoon prance along looking very much like the King of Summer!

Highlights: The boys have to slide down huge waterslides then answer questions. It seems that Shoon, Takaki and Taiyou become even dumber than normal after sliding down a long, scary slide! I also love the way none of the Johnnys kids seem at all surprised when some coconut tree climber says that he's gay. The final game of the hula intro quiz is Taiyou vs all the J.J.Express members. After he tells them to trust him, he then goes and frolics with a dog - looking like some sort of dopey nutcase!!! No wonder he's known as an airhead! *^o^*

"Ya-Ya-yah" show (7 April, 2007) Homemade wedding ceremony

Highlights: Three kids want to hold a wedding ceremony for their parents who never got to have one 15 years ago. Yabu makes a flower dog with whiplash (?! And I thought I was uncoordinated!!) while Taiyou is too tall for the camera. Tegoshi turns up with a huge cake (and fake tears???). I don't know if I'm just a sucker for emotional shows, but this episode had me both laughing and crying. And going "Awww" when Koyama peeked into the dressing room and said "Mama~!" when he saw the mother in her wedding dress. During the live stage part Ya-Ya-yah & 4 NEWS members sing a short medley where Shige doesn't fail but Koyama does as they break through paper doors and then he fails again when he tries to stand up on a block and ends up falling into Shoon's waiting arms! *Aw, how romantic~!*
