Highlights: Shige went to Bangladesh to do a report about a Japanese lady who started a bag making business there. Apart from Shige's deep voice making me laugh because he sounds funny doing serious voice-overs and his lack of coordination eating with his hands, all my other highlights have nothing to do with him. (Sorry Shige! You just never seem to leave any lasting impression on me, and this is just another clip where the same is true!) This is one of those great moving tales about someone who is trying to help others. The lady was conned and cheated many times, but she never gave up. She even uses the profits from her business to help street children. And I loved the way she dealt with beggars and her whole stance on helping poor people through employment schemes rather than charity.

Highlights: Koyama goes to a facility where they take abandoned & abused dogs and train them to be hearing dogs that will help deaf people. The trainers are young people who had shut themselves off from society (a common problem for young people in Japan.) Kei gets to try to shampoo a dog that hates him (with "try" being the most important word in that sentence!) He was nervous about it, which was sort of sweet. I thought it was nice how he obviously developed a real bond with one of the trainers, and how he seemed to feel a bit awkward about asking prying questions about the trainer's past.

Highlights: This is the same Osaka guy who interviewed Koyama & Massu on another show, but this time it's much better because they actually get to talk! We get to hear about how Massu got shocked at being on stage with Yampi and the public's reactions to Massu's horrid sense of fashion. Koyama talks about how Tegoshi is a brat who doesn't notice when others are being kind to him. And it seems that Ryo is obviously the biggest narcissist in NEWS - but let's hope he doesn't get angry and that his mom doesn't mind them saying that!

And we get to hear about Yamapi's brilliant technique for stopping burglars (...of course that's why he does it! It's certainly not just that he's lazy and oblivious to the world around him...!)

(I guess I really should learn the members names one day to make it easier to write highlights that are understandable to anyone other than myself...!)
